So This Is My Monthly Manifesto: August (Hi Britt!)

[via]

Tap, tap, tap. Is this thing on? I hesitantly return, tail between my legs, to le blog.

It's not that I haven't felt like blogging. I just haven't had much to blog about. Unless you consider my welterweight fight with AT&T interesting. Or how I apparently can't park my car, but only when it comes to the garage in my apartment building. Or that I just can't control my girl crush on Chelsea Handler.

Anyway.

It's Friday, and I'm still in love. With my blog and with you all. Especially my dear friend Brittany, whose Monthly Manifesto I find ridiculously contagious. Hence, here is my Monthly Manifesto for August (peppered with a little Summer as well).

This very well be my last Bagel and Donut Friday, since production on my show wrapped and then I'm off to Europe and then, well...who knows? Tear.

Today, I am in love with: Magnolia Bakery, internet coming so soon (Tuesday! Tuesday!), sleeping in a bit late (but still managing to get to work on time), beautiful weather, new jeans, light work days.

I don't know if you've heard, but red wine and I are dating. I think it's getting serious.

Europe is only 2 weeks away. And despite typing that sentence out, this has not yet hit me.

My apartment is slowly but surely coming together. Still in the market for: a desk (I'd really like my own little corner to write) and a coffee table.

From Saturday until the end of September, my family and I will have a temporary addition. Ifat, one of the soldiers from mine and Liza's trip to Israel, is staying with us. Liza's been showing her all around New York, and they're flying back this weekend. Full house!

I don't know if you've heard, but avocados and I are dating. I think it's getting serious. Don't tell red wine.

I'm slowly but surely falling into old habits with my new car. Read: moving into it, allowing it to get dirty, etc. Must stop this immediately.

Too many women I know are suffering the loss of a baby, and to be blunt? I think it just sucks. It sucks for so many reasons, but I hate that there's nothing I can say (or more importantly, do) to make things better for them. All of these ladies are beautiful women who I know will be beautiful mothers in their own time. But for the record, I boycott these events. They're never okay. Love to all of you. You know who you are.

Lately, I've had a somewhat big urge to go to Disneyland. But then the urge passes when I remember that they've jacked up their prices. Dislike.

Restaurant.com is a beautiful website. $25 gift cards for $2? Why, don't mind if I do!

Katelin, you're gonna be a bride in 8 days. Michelle, you just were a bride. Stop the madness! Also known as, congrats.

After attending a play last night, I was reminded of how much a part of me the theatre is, and perhaps always will be.

My body and I have been friends lately. Let's hope this is a legit connection we've formed.

I think the True Blood Rolling Stone cover is completely acceptable.

Happy Friday, everyone! Thanks for sticking with me, as always.

So I'm Still Here

[via]

Wow. Hello, little neglected blog 'o mine. How goes it?

I'm still here. Just currently living in an apartment with no internet, which I thought was going to be solved today. But good old AT&T decided that they're not processing my order just yet. On the bright side, God said let there be cable (and DVR)...and there was.

Be back soon, hopefully with apartment photos!

In the meantime, give me updates on you.
