[via]Wow. Hello, busy/crazy/hectic/exciting beyond belief week!
This past week was - you guessed it - busy. The second Wednesday evening hit, it was full speed ahead! Do not pass Go, just...well, just go. And so I did. And it went something like this:
Wednesday night: work/pick up car (but don't pick it up until you sign off on one car, then wait 20 minutes to get it, only to be told someone wrote down the wrong stock number and you have to do it all over again; bonus: it's nearly 10 pm and you've got work tomorrow...oh vell!)
Thursday: work/haul ass on my lunch to pick up the keys to my apartment (!!!)
Friday: work/haul ass to a furniture store before it closes for the evening to look at furniture with mom and sis; strike gold and snag an entire bedroom set and mattress
Saturday: take car in (found a scratch, no thank you!), meet Drea and Kerri at the spa for an insane experience (more on that soon) followed by a lovely happy hour, then spend the first night at my apartment with Kristen and get so excited that this is all really, truly happening
Sunday: grab quick breakfast/coffee with Kristen, then work all day and finally, meet Liza and friend Kyle at Target (do major damage at Target, but for a decent price which made me incredibly happy and relieved) and then IKEA (at which point, I was exhausted and done)
Today: work/haul ass back to furniture store to see/possibly buy the couch they just got in
Proof of said major Target damage: this vacuum, this microwave, this cook set, this kitchen gadget set thing (Deal. Of. The. Century), these towels, this dinnerware set (but not in yellow, think more along the lines of turquoise), these hangers (so what if they're for kids?) and this bath rug. Also? Dryer balls, car mats, yet another way for me to hate Jillian and a pack of Werther's.
So I think you now might understand why I opted out of watching True Blood last night. Seriously.
All exciting things. All good. Bring it on.
How was your weekend?
Coming soon: many firsts in Colorado and of course, that time I nearly lost my skin at a spa
