Bachelorette Bashing Anyone?

Okay, I lied.

Well. Sort of.

I was having dinner with my mom tonight (just a few minutes ago, actually) and she said that we don't actually know how long Molly has. Nobody does. The surgery would just buy her a year, if that.

Okay, fine. So I misunderstood.

This made me feel a bit better, but it's still that whole unknown thing that gets me. Either way, it just goes to show you (and me) that it could always be worse.

Can you tell I'm feeling just a tad bit better? And that's mainly because of all the support (cough, comments, cough) that you've so kindly bestowed upon me. Seriously, I have such a huge spot in my heart for you, it's kind of ridiculous. In the best way possible.

So, back to our normally scheduled programming.

The Bachelorette. Shall we discuss this? I think we shall.

I mean, anyone who watches reality television knows that it's not all reality and bladdy blah blah. But come on! Do these people actually think we're dumb enough to believe that Jake came back because he's just that perfect? Or that Ed had an epiphany, quit his job and returned? Or that Jillian seriously thinks Wes is a stand up guy?

Okay, maybe Jillian really is that dumb. But we're not. Right?

It was just sort of hard to watch, especially when she sent gorgeous (albeit a bit shark-like) Jess and adorable little Mike home. What an idiot. Sigh...

All I'll say is that if Jillian picks Wes, I'm preparing for a reverse Jason Mesnick kind of thing. You know, a whole "actually Jillian, you really are that stupid because of course I'm still seeing ex-girlfriend Laurel back home!" Peace out Canada.

I don't know. Maybe it's because I work in reality television (well, at least for one more month) that I am so cynical about all this. Or maybe it's because Jillian just bugged me last night. Or maybe it's because the "song" Wes "wrote" for Jillian only has a few words.

Anyone?

I agree. I couldn't watch the last half of the show last night because it became so obvious and staged. After the Jason fiasco last season I'm more on guard for that kind of stuff.

Also, I fell in love with Michael and am sad he's gone. His crush was so cute and pure-hearted.

I didn't watch this season! I'm too cynical now.. After the last one.
It seems too staged...too unbelievable for me now.

Sometimes I think the guys are just all about winning the competition and the one episode I sort of watched, well Jillian just seemed annoying!

:)

I'm glad to hear that you could possibly have more time with your doggie. Gosh, Jillian sounds like she went off of the deep end. I haven't been watching but I always get sad when things don't turn out as I had hoped. Sounds like you are doing better - enjoy your night sweetie!

Jillian's a dumbass.

Too harsh?

Glad you're feeling a bit better! I've never watched that show, but I do watch those stupid VH1 reality shows where the Z-list celebrities try to find "true love". Have you ever watched "Daisy of Love"? If not, you really should. She has to be one of the dumbest people on television.

I'm so over her. Like if she was my friend I'd take her out for cocktails and give her a piece of my mind. And then leave her with the bill. Wes gives me the CREEEEEPS.

this is not the plan for tonight. LOL

The Grouper calls this season the WWB, you know, like WWE Wrestling, only in the form of the Bachelorette. I think that Jillian really is stupid, even though a lot of this season is a set up. I hope that she picks him and he dumps her like a bad habit. If she can't see through his lies, she doesn't deserve guys that were as nice as Michael and Jake.

Poor Mikey. I just wanted to squish him when he was doing his post-dump confessional. She just couldn't get over the age thing, and that in itself is pathetic.

Hi! Clicked over from another blog. I'm a FANatic. :) I didn't get to watch this last week, but clicked over the last few minutes. Right when Jesse was leaving.

Boy has she made some poor choices, huh!? She is just really not a good judge of character or something. Wes needs to GO. I just cannot believe that she's kept him around with ALL of the warnings she's been given. He is such a snake.

Ed is my absolute fave!

I think she should have let Wes & Reid go.

I really really wish I could get a dose of american reality tv online somewhere! but soo many sites only allow streaming in the US....so I guess I'm NEVER going to be able to watch the bachelorette. ):

i only saw about half of it, but she's irritating me because she seems to have the most unrealistic perspective about everything. love, life, everything.

but she does have good hair.

karenwithak: Oh, I so agree with you. Stupid Jason and adorable little Michael. Nice guys really do finish last sometimes. Tear.

TudorCity Girl: Yep. Big, fat yep.

OceanDreams: Thank you, as always. :)

Just Playing Pretend: Not too harsh to me!

Fidget Midget: Oh, I'll be sure to check out Daisy of Love and then most likely bitch to you about how dumb she is, haha!

Lizzy: NOT our plan, but I do like the plan for her! Evil, party of 2?

LiLu: If by delicious you mean ridiculous then yes, yes it is.

Gidget: I like the Grouper's nickname for this season. Very accurate! And I KNOW, no matter how staged - I felt bad for Mike. Sigh...

Amber: Yes! I know, though my sister LOVES Reid and wants to marry him. But don't worry, I won't tell her what you said. ;)

Adele: No worries, it's probably for the best. Especially with what reality shows are on TV right now.

Ginger: She does have good hair. Gr...does it bother you when she says "abOOt" the way it bothers me?
