Work's been a bit hectic. Just lots of...well, work. But keeping busy's always a good thing to me. Remember that book I was telling you about? Well, I finished it in 2 days. I haven't done that since Harry Potter, which should tell you just how wonderful that book was. Read it now, thank me later. ;)
On a totally unrelated note, can someone please explain to me why people feel the need to do this?
I mean, I'm all for the practical jokes...the ha ha, I'm so funny because I do stupid things that piss you off. But this? To me, there's just no point in doing this. Not only are you down a pair of shoes, but you also have to deal with the frustration of seeing them just staring you down. Not okay.
I'm a little sad that Thursday nights no longer hold the excitement that they used to, since Grey's is on hiatus and all. Of course, I can always watch the season finale again (which I have...well, the end of it anyway), but it gets old pretty quickly. Any show suggestions for tonight? I'll gladly hear anyone out on anything.
Speaking of television, did anyone else laugh as hard as Liza and I did when that one guy on The Bachelorette said he got so excited, he peed in his bathing suit a little bit? We just died. That's the man Jillian should pick.
Coolest thing of the day (and possibly the month) below.
I found this over at The English Muse and just couldn't get over it. People are so creative sometimes, it blows my mind.
I've decided that I'm going to start attempting to get a bit more personal with this blog. Personal as in talking more about my life, since it is my blog afterall. This is easier said than done for me. I really do not like discussing myself, but I am going to try to step out of that comfort zone. Starting tomorrow.
For now, I'm off to finish up the remaining few hours of work, then meet 2 lovely ladies for dinner.
Hope all of your weeks are going well!

I too loved the moneygami...hilarious!
And I hate the shoes on a wire thing too...someone told me it's a gang territory sign, but they could have been lying, I'm quite guillible.
I'm looking forward to you getting more personal on this blog...I mean, you dream of me, after all, so I think you could probably tell me a bit more about you...haha. By the way, was my face in your dream, since I've never really posted a clear pic of it, or was it like a moneygami face?
I've replaced Greys with So You Think You Can Dance...not the same, doesn't make me cry but it works. Add wine, everything works.
Ohh I understand about getting personal...but once you do, you'll get so much support and understanding it's crazy. I always want to delete my personal posts before I post them, but once I do it feels good.
Ok. UMM YOU'RE GORG. FYI.
XOXOXOXOXO
So You Think You Can Dance has been fun so far, except I hate that Mary woman...she looks like a horse and is way too screechy and annoying for me.
And yes, we'll be supportive when you get personal. Promise.
Yeah, SYTYCD is the new Thursday night. Not as good, that's for sure, but less tragic.
Love the moneygami!
haha i would love for my money to be folded into little pictures and then displayed instead of just in the bank. (: but that would be terribly unwise.
Ya know, someone once told me that shoes on a wire were a sign that a drug dealer/drug den was near by. More specifically, a drug den that is 'Open for Business'. I really don't know how true it is, though.
Yeh, get more personal!
i laughed at that part... but i laughed even more when the guy said he was "hung like a light switch" and that's why she didn't pick him lmao.
and yes, get personal! i've written about poop and sex and i still have my dignity... you can do it!
2 things:
1 - I've heard about shoes on a wire as a gang/drug thing too (most likely), but I've also heard kids do it when they lose their, um, "innocence", or if you are new to town (but I think that one might be from that movie "Big Fish")... but yeah, it's probably drugs :-/
2 - I'm not sure if it's on Thursday night, but the show Wipeout is A-MAZ-ING if you enjoy seeing people bite the dust... I think I just got inspired for a blog...
